Can you increase the capacity of the P9 simply by using K9 magazines? Will they fit properly or will they add extra length to the overall height measurement? (4.5")

Trivia question for the day: Guess who turns 40 today?

Hint: He designed our favorite pistols and founded a company called Kahr Arms.

Yes, yes, and yes. See Kahr Arms / Magazines (http://www.kahr.com/PA-2B.html) .I've been thinking of getting some of the K920Gs for the range and reload carry. Those bases are more friendly than the metal or the other plastic bases.

The longer 8 round mag will stick out the bottom more that the standard 7 round mag, making the height about 5.08".

Here is a link where I show the differences between most of the .45 Kahr magazines. The 9mm one with various bases and lengths will look something like this. You can't put more rounds in a single stack magazine without it getting longer.

Right after I posted this, I was thinking, yeah, how do you do that? Magic? I mean, I'm not a rocket scientist or anything......Appreciate your input.

LOL. Yeah, I almost said something about the magic we don't have. The Doctor Who's Tardis with its roomy interior inside a phone booth... we could pack a lot of ammo in there, as long as the added weight was negated.
