I got my Kahr CM9 a few months ago and have been carrying it ever since. My first ever Kahr pistol and I fell in love, I liked it so much that I traded my other firearm to get a Kahr CM45 for winter carry. I carry my CM9 in my pocket or my waistband in a remora holster and sometimes I forget it's there honestly. Figured since I like my pistol so much I would join this forum so greetings from St. Louis MOhttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/09/21/622a3dddf4b486272c37c8f928f185bd.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/09/21/00dd3b5aa719fb954b6547cb9aa349a8.jpg

utter than a bigger hole, why dress to carry a 45 when that cm9 fits so so nice in your front pocket. I have carried my PMJ9 in my front pocket fopr over 6 years, it is with me every day, as well as a half dozen Trojans. U just don't leave home without either IMO. Just sayin

I'll go for it, only if I get some ginsu knives with it - at no extra cost - to keep in case I 'd like to return the boots

I like the 45, on colder days it's not hard to carry at all. Since its single stack it's easy to hide under a medium T-Shirt.

I like the 45 even on hot days. A PM45 on the ankle and a 1911 on the hip is designed to be comforting, not comfortable (Clint Smith) but I find I can achieve both with light weight button down shirts.
You leave the trojans in the store and use that pocket for it's intended purpose, nothing and your golden.

A PM45 on the hip and the extra mag nearby works well for me. The 1911 is a tad large. I used to carry the Ruger P345 so the Kahr feels ever so much better. Shoots better for me too.

If you practice, front pocket carry is just as fast as IWB carry. Some of us don't have the option of carrying open, we get face planted by LE, even though it's legal.

I'm getting a officer sized 1911 soon and I can't wait, I would be happier with a PM45 though not gonna lie lol

Which officer model you getting out of curiosity. I like commander size the best but carry full size sometimes. I have a Para LDA that is officer sized.

I think I'd personally opt for the PM45 over a standard officer 1911 myself. I've never had issue with either but sometimes the officer size 1911's can be balky or so I'm told.

My PM45 lives on my ankle. I sometimes forget to take it off when I head for the rack, forget its there.

I think I have the same Para LDA the Colonel has. I've never had any trouble with it. But, I don't shoot it much since it does seem kinda heavy and bulky for carry when I have Kahrs laying around.

I'm getting a rock island GI compact, it's a nice 1911 for the money. I like the GI look on a 3 inch barrel.

I had to edit my post (below), I quoted the original post from Newman31Bravo, which included his intro (which I just removed) and photo (above).
Main question to him or anyone else here:

What do you think about the remora mag holder?
Does it work for you in real time?
I got one a couple of months ago as a freebee when buying their iwb/owb convertable holster for my cm9.
The mag holder is no good for either iwb or between the belt and jeans (for me).
It works it's way out all the time whether it's next to skin or a t-shirt and falls on the floor (or sidewalk/parking lot).
Now the only time I use that junk is to hold a mag in a dresser drawer, and bought a kydex owb holder instead.

Welcome janderson, glad you found us. Always room for another Missourian round these parts.

I'm very much displaced but my heart is still in Missoura. Got lots of kin there although seems like fewer and fewer all the time.

My wife got one with the holster for her CW45. She uses it as an IWB holster for a Seecamp 32.
I'm gonna order a holster for my CW 45 Monday and put the mag holder to the same use.
