PM9 engineering change(s) serial #'s and dates

Hello fellow Kahr enthusiast.
I am ready to purchase my first Kahr product.
I have visited my local Gun store and looked at two used pm9's.
The employee told me that there was a difference and showed me a couple of slight differences between the models.
My plan is to buy new, but that brings me to two questions.

1. I have read on the Kahr website that the PM9 comes with (3) magazines. When I go online and read posts from recent purchasers from Bud's and other worthy establishments, they only come with two mags. One post stated that maybe it was new "OLD" stock. Any Help on serial number breaks that I should look for?

2. I am contemplating the "N" model with the Night Sites. I have called Kahr and went online to see a direct comparison between the factory pm9 site and the night site. After a call to the factory, Kahr simply replied there were none. Any advice on how to compare because my local Kahr supplier(s) never have a factory Night sight. Any Advice?

Kahr ships premium series products with three magazines. http://www.kahr.com/premium-series.asp

But, they did not always do that and there may be some in distribution with only two. I think I would inquire from whoever you are considering buying from whether it will have 2 or 3 mags and get an answer in writing.

The night sights are 3 dot trijicon sites. The standard sights are bar-dot sights that look like dotting an "i" when the are all lined up. And, the night sights glow a light green at night for 10 years or so.

When looking at used PM9s, there are a few other changes you may care about. The first change of note was when they changed the sight dovetail. There are fewer sights for the "old" dovetail. There is a divot in the slide that you can view with the slide off to tell which dovetail it has. If you have seen both, they are pretty easy to tell apart as well.

The slide, barrel and recoil assembly were also changed. The "blunt nosed" Kahrs are the earlier ones. This change happened after the dovetail change. Some blunt nosed Kahrs have the old dovetail, and some the new. All Kahrs with the taper at the muzzle have the "new" sight dovetail, a slightly longer barrel, slide and recoil assembly.
