That's ok, there's plenty of Federal agents that will make their firearms available....

Sad day.

I just posted a note in another thread about supporting your local gun stores. I recommend it. Even if it costs you a little extra.

Amen, b4uqzme. Another few bucks over a lifetime don't amount to squat. Try getting a big box store or cyber dealer to install your new sights.

San Francisco residents can still purchase firearms from any dealer in the area. Just not in the city. This stupidity is mostly concentrated in the larger cities but there are others throughout the state that would like to see the same take place where they live. If you believe in the Second Amendment, try not to live or move to California.

That's what is happening here in SEattle. They added a huge tax and extra charge on ammo and stupid stuff.

You just have to go out of Seattle to get back to normal. The fear is just like California rubbing off on other states, Seattle will rub off on other city's until it becomes normal or acceptable.

I guess normal and acceptable means different things to different folks.

The NRA is Challenging Seattle for creating a new gun law. According to the NRA only the State of Washington has that right.

Smoke and Mirrors: Seattle Sales Tax (https://www.nraila.org/articles/20150828/smoke-and-mirrors-seattle-sales-tax)

This week, the NRA, the National Shooting Sports Foundation, the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF), firearms retailers, and private gun owners filed a lawsuit against the City of Seattle, alleging that its new firearms and ammunition sales tax ordinance is illegal and unenforceable. Earlier this month, Seattle passed the Firearm Tax and Ammunition Tax ordinance which imposes a new $25 sales tax on the retail sales of firearms, plus a per-round sales tax of two to five cents on ammunition. The ordinance is slated to go into effect on January 1, 2016. A failure to pay the tax is punishable by a fine of up to $5,000, imprisonment of up to 364 days, or both.
