I had a K9 stainless for a while (couple of years ago) that I had to sell to settle a tax bill. In the time that I had it, I concluded it was the perfect carry gun.

I just replaced her with a steel black K9 (regular black, from about 1996 or so) for 300$ (I am not bragging). She was cruddy, but she cleaned up nice; and I think I bought her for a steal. I haven't fired her yet but, except for needing a new recoil spring, I have every confidence it she will function flawlessly.

I'll carry her in the DeSantis IWB holster that I used for her predecessor. I'm sure we'll be happy together.

BTW, her stable mates are are a Les Baer Stinger, a Ruger MKII, and a Ruger SP101.

Sorry, I don't have pics. I'm sure you all know what a K9 looks like!

It's a great pistol isnt it? Congrats on getting "your" K9 back!

I just bought a Brand new stainless K9 with night sights a week or so ago & I have to concur, it is the perfect CC weapon. Almost everyone's eyes light up at the range when I show it to them. It feels nice in the hand. So far I put 150 rounds thru it and not one single hiccup. It's loaded up right now with Hornady critical defense 115gr. and I've started carrying it after I gave it a "practice run" at out clubs weekly IDPA match just to see how it feels in self defense situations. It is clearly more accutate than my M&P shield & handles the recoil much much better. I carry it in a alien gear cloak tuck 2 iwb holster.

Also Lahr will take care of you

i had a Lahr years ago I bought new

the current one used. I'm at least the third owner and someone did some internal work and swapped parts along the way

the gun would not fire reliable, it's late and I can't remember the exact fault but it's documented in a thread around here.

The gun was 2-3 years out of warranty and it was repaired and returned. I had to pay to ship it there but that's normal for them and that's how you take care of your customers

kahr proved to build a classy fine gun and acted with true class to boot

i am never gonna forget that and I got plenty of time to buy Guns in this life

My first Kahr also was an early black carbon steel, K9. Led to many more. Great deal on a great pistol... enjoy your "new" K9.

Here's a photo of that one.

New recoil spring = maybe new breakin shooting. Get some range time with hot ammo! Enjoy your new pistola
