The Spyderco knives are the best for thumb opening of any I've tried.

I bought a Spyderco Harpie back in... oh... 1990 or so, still got it, fairly easy to sharpen for full serrated blade. Still tight.

Spyderco makes great knives at reasonable prices. The Delica 4 is a great knife. Extremely lightweight, good quality VG10 steel, and tough as nails I would like to see the Kahr version next to a standard Delica 4. The width of the blade on the Kahr version may make that model take up a bit more pocket space, although I find the blade shape very interesting.

Their Paramilitary 2 is one of the best folders I have ever owned.

With all due respect;
I used to own a standard Delica 4.
And the new Kahr version appears to have a redesigned blade.
Standard Delica 4.

Ordered the Kahr version as the blade looks box cutter like to me.
That with the tan color, I might get less funny looks at work - LOL!:rolleyes:

These have been out for awhile, I don't have one YET. but I sure want one. I've pretty much left folders behind and stick with fixed blades now days but this one looks mighty fine to me.

Love to get one, sooner the better.

Actually, it is a totally different blade shape and grind. The steel remains the same VG10 as most standard Delica 4's. Going price is about $90 which is +$30 more than the standard Delica 4.

I stand corrected.... I thought they changed the Delica series a few years back. Mistaken.

Spyderco shows the standard and Kahr Delica 4 on their page
