Now with one finger pull back on the striker at the back of the slide and continue to spray in that hole and also spray clean from that breech hole also. You have now cleaned that striker channel without dissambly, DO NOT OIL
This is from Jocko's awesome "proper prep" thread. I have a question though. I see where the "clean out hole" is, but there's a second hole? The breech hole. Is it right near the striker that I'll be pulling back?

It's the hole in the breech face where the firing pin protrudes to strike the primer.

if u now spray from the breech hole (firing pin hole), with the striker pulled back, then any crap will come out of that clean out hole. One really should not have to take that slide down to clean if they use both those clean out holes. remember no oil in the striker channel, it just gathers crud quicker and everything in the striker channel including the striker is stainless......

I think along with the "Senior Member" title, some here should also get a title mabe like, "Kahr Newbie Mentor" or something like that.
You are much appreciated by us Kahr rookies.

I'll work for Kahr as long as I don't have to move (I like it here), I get part at least in part with guns and ammo, and I get to play with the new toys that are being developed. Other wise I'll buy another model when I can, and keep playing with them. I thought that was the purpose of this forum though, to help with the questions, as jocko said, we were all new once.

True true, I just noticed however, this forum in particular, alot of the members really put effort into their answers. Well thought out and articulate. Not brief and vague answers.

that is true and IMO, that is because they truly are here to help, if possable, they are not here to puff out their chests to be the gun guru's that some forums fondle up to. these guys are knowledeable and usually when we get different opinions, they don't turn into a pissing contest.

Kahrs are great guns, IMO the best pocket ccw guns around but they do at times have quirks that many of the posters have encountered, so normally their advice is based on actual happenings to them. Pay attention to these guys, they just might save an unncecessary trip back to the mother ship. My knowledge of kahrs has grown five fold since this forum come to life and I thank all you guys for that...

I enjoy this forum alot and can't believe it's taken me this long to discover Kahr. (I've been a gun owner since 1992)
Oh, and much more relaxed here too. Not the "thread police" looking to close you down for any slight deviation of specific topic.
