Picked up a Glock 43 today. Went straight out to shoot it after disassembling the gun to make sure there were no obstructions in the barrel. Nice thing about Glocks is that they come ready to shoot - no need to degrease, fluff, buff...
It's similar in size to the CM9 but just a tad longer.
The gun shot real well. Some snap due to the small size of the gun. Went through 100+ rounds of various fmj and jhp with no hiccups.
Definitely my new carry gun.
Doesn't get any better than shooting steel.

Congrats on the new pistol. :)

Somebody forgot to pass that word to the early G30SF I used to own and my current G19; both needed massaging and replacement parts to function correctly.
On the other hand, my G27 did/does function as you describe.

Greg

Greg,
I should have said with all the Glocks I've owned. Sorry

It's all good. I was happy with mine (still am with the 27 and 19) after they were running right. I'm glad to hear yours work well for you...and, again, congrats on the new 43 :)
Regards,
Greg

My brother's Glock 19 Gen 4 ran perfect right out of the box after he replaced the recoil spring to stop it from jamming and the ejector to keep the brass from bouncing off of his forehead. :)

Almost every gun I've bought has run fine right out of the box, including my CW9 and CM9.

My 43 tends to fire brass in my face too a lot. Forgot about that lol. So new ejector fixed that? He send it back to Glock or fix himself?

Glock sent him the recoil spring and ejector under warranty. I believe he installed the parts himself.

I work with a state trooper and he has one for backup.

I can relate to that. My g30s ran 100% from day one. My gen 4 g19 was marginal the first 400 rounds. Glocks are perfect... 50% of the time.

I did think about a g43 for the wife but she likes her nano so I'll save the money for ammo I guess. I have grown to like the G19.
