Just thought I'd relay a little occurrence that happened over the weekend.
Two weekends ago, I sort of ... had a pleasant encounter with a long time female associate. It was unplanned, quite nice.
She invited me to her home over this past weekend, to continue the pleasantries, and I gladly accepted.
That's not the real point of the story though........
She is living with her friends, who have a ranch sized property, along with a rather nicely appointed ranch house complete with cement pond.
It was decided that after dinner we would embark on a swim, in the clothes God provided at birth.
All was well, male shrinkage and female corduroy accepted as a fact of life in the see-ment swimmin' hole, but I had this very strange thought.
That thought was... the water was dead. Nada, no life. Not like swimmin' in the sea, or a creek, or a real mud pond. Sort of a wet bio desert of sorts. It was a little unsettling.
So I told my lady friend, jeeze... I've had an epiphany in this pool.
She said WHAT?
I've had an epiphany in the....
She said... LISTEN, PLEASE USE THE DAMN BUSHES OR SOMETHING, I'M IN HERE TOO!
The rest, as they say, is history.....
