I just picked up a PM9. It came with the 6 round mag labeled "MK Kahr". The CM9 mags I have are labeled "9-6 Kahr". They look identical to me.

Any difference other than the label?

From my experience the mags are all the same. If it's a 6 round mag it will say "9-6 Kahr" and if it's a 7 round "9-7 Kahr". I just purchased a 7 round mag from Cheaper than Dirt, it was labeled "9-7 Kahr", the package however stated MK9/PM9. It's all the same.

All the 6rd 9mm mags are interchangeable.

I've owned all three of the small 9's and all work perfectly with each other.

The smaller 6 round mag guns can also accept the longer magazines if you're interested. I.e. my 7 round P9 mags run just fine in my CM9. And I carry a CT380 mag as a backup to my 6 round P380. Kahr is good about that.

I've got a bunch of the 7 round mags from the CM9 plus the one that came with the PM9. Good to know they'll all work. I read on the 9094A page on the Kahr Web site that the PM9 comes with two 6 rounders and one 7. I had one of each in the box. Did I lose one somewhere or did I just read the page wrong?

Problem solved. Instead of hassling with the shop or with Kahr I just bought a couple of new 6 rounders.

I've never been a fan of extended magazines. If I felt the need for more than a 6+1 capacity I'd buy a gun with a double stack magazine.

I've got some 7 round for use at the range. I only carry with the 6 round mag.

SOT I sure wish that Kahr would fix the magazine follower issue with their 9mm magazines. A metal follower would probably fix the issue.

I'm thinking they may have --- 9mm follower complaints are rare nowadays. But if you are interested in metal followers, there is only one source that I am aware = Lakelinellc.com Al's a good upstanding Kahrtalk member too!

They don't measure up at all especially against my Springfield EMP.

Sent my serial number to Kahr. Gun was shipped to the dealer in June 2013, before the 3 mag shipping started.

I was a Cleveland Browns fan. Cleveland doesn't have a football team. They do have a damn good QB and one good receiver, but that does not a team make.

There's nothing wrong with a polymer follower. The followers break because the feed ramp is too long. There are thousands of Kahr pistols that feed just fine with the magazines just as they are.

And how much did you pay for your EMP? A bit more than my CM9 I'd wager.

Buds has EMP's going over a grand. I'd imagine other places such as LGS's would have them for quite a bit more.

My CM9 has broken 3 polymer magazine followers in one year. The last one broke off at both the front and back leg. The only thing that the factory does is to send a new follower. I ordered and received metal followers from Lakelinellc. They are definitely high quality. I would recommend them to anyone.
