Hi,

I would like to hear from someone who has experience with both the CW9 and the Glock 43. I am leaning towards purchasing a CW9, since my other Kahrs are so reliable, and the price is right when compared to Glock. The CW 9 is also a bit more concealable in my opinion. With regard to shooting and performance of the CW9 Vs Glock 43 does anyone comparisons that they wish to share?
Thanks

I don't have the 43 but I have a 19 and a 30s. I have the cm9, ct9, and had the cw9 before i foolishly traded it.

I think the Kahr trigger is best for carry over the glock trigger. Smooth and long like a revolver trigger. The kahr is thin and light too.

The CM9 is smaller than the G42 that's a .380 take that into consideration.

dont own a cm9 but I do own aq PMJ9 that is the same size as the cm9. I also own a G43 that Ihave had some serius action work done to it, similar to what I had done on my PMJ9, both guns are highly tuned, both are not magna ported, both have fiber optic sitghtson them. BOTH ARE SUPER UNS.

while my PMj9 was at karh to get the fiber optic sitghts on it, I spent alot of time with my G43. It is a fantastic gun. At first the gun when new was a sh!tty trigger, very gritty and ithad a stop in the trigger pullto let you know it was going to go boom next. My PMJ9 triger system is just the opposite. No gritty feel, kno trigger stop signal, just a loooong but totally smooth pull befor e the boom thing. I have literaly thousands of rounds thru my PMJ9 ad I stillto this day am not siatisfied with my accuracy at 7 yards. My G43 at 7 yards just shots circles around my PMJ98 groups and it is all in the trigger system,. glocks are short trigger where kahrs are loong. I only pocket carry and I found the Gtlock 43 fairly comfortable to pocket carry in my front pocket, certainly not as good as the PMJ9 did though andit was also about 5 ounces heavier, but its doable. My one complatin about pocket carrying a glock was tyheir SAS trigger safety. I just never cuddled up to that trigger safety, so I bouththe Siderlock trigger for my G43 which u can ook up at siderlock.com. It eeds no explanation IMO. It is absolutely fatastic and I feel totally safe with it in my pocket or anywhere for that matter. I have since went basck to my PMJ9 after getting the fiber optic sitghts on it. I thi9nk I shoot it alot bettr tahn whe I had the xs big dots o it and my eyes are just not that good anyjore either, but I felt better with it at 7 yards. but my groups just do ot compare to the groups of the G43, gut size matters and weigtht matters when pocket carrying. Porting my G43 helped the accuracy of the second shot emmensley and the recoil is just gone also. a really pleasant gun to shoot. But I just see to fall back on my PMJ9 as it is smaller and litghter and I luv the trigger even though I don't shoot it like the G43 but I understand the differences, ut again at 7 yards I can with ease put every shot into the FBI "bowling pin target, so 2" groupps reall don't bother me as I know I have a close up defense gun that goes bang every time and it is a 24/7 carry for me as it has been for over 6 years. I do think though if I was gonna carry it wast band carr in sumpin like the super tuck tha tthe G43 would be my choise. I would suggest you gt with someone who ownes a G43 and give it a test run. every shooter has his own preferances, so what I am sayyingt is ol jocko's opinion. I wills ay this I have had a few glocks in my life and every one out of the boxc had a sh!tty trigger, once that was corrected, those gus are real shooters. Just not sure u can make a Kahr trigger any better than it is out of the box, they are just that good.

Just remember a gun that will shot 2" groups at 10 yrds that is sitting at home is as worthless as **** on a boar..

Still looking at the 43 but except for the height my P9 is smaller in all other parameters and is 7+1 also. However, I do like the Glock trigger. Biggest advantage with sticking with the P9 is all the money I save.
