Yep that's 3 in 3 weeks..... One of the pitfalls of living half an hour from the Sig Academy Pro Shop

I wanted to get a poly Sig and thought I was going to end up with a 320. After handling it I didn't like the way my thumb on my support hand rested on the takedown lever. I could tell after a box of ammo that it would probably rub my thumb raw, maybe it's just my grip

In any event I handled a 2022 and it felt great. Felt like a mix between a 229 and the 226.

I need help I think...eating is over rated heh

I have one as well, and it is one of my favorite range guns. Here is the thread I started when I got mine:

I had one of those several years ago when they first came out. It was a German model, and like nearly all SIG's, was a fine pistol. However, I decided it was too large for a 9mm and I was moving to 45's, so I sold it.

Thanks for the link. I enjoyed reading it. Have you carried it at all in the holster?

The holster that came with the gun is about 1.5" longer than the muzzle of the gun. It appears to be a generic Sig holster. it holds the gun well, and would do for range or OC, but it doesn't conceal well at all. However, I do CC carry my SP2022 on occasion in the High Noon holster below, which conceals extremely well for such a large gun. In these photos I have installed the black grip panel I found on eBay:

Have you guys ever thought about joining SA? That's Sig Anonymous. You gotten past the first of the twelve steps by admitting that you are powerless over Sig products. Sounds like you need to appeal to a higher power. May I suggest Justin Moon? :)

Oh I'm a card carrying member of SA Muggsy lol

In fact after breaking it in yesterday with 150 rounds at the range, I'm almost convinced to go buy a 2nd 2022 in the FDE. I think they shoot that well and at a heck of a price [emoji3]

That's a great looking holster. Congrats on a great find. Are you using a 1 3/4 belt with that ? All my belts are 1.5

I may end up getting the Mitch Rosen one at Sig for now. 75 bucks

I'm really loving this gun. So much that I'm thinking I may pick up a 2nd one in FDE

My Gun Belt is 1.5", made by ABetterBelt ( http://abetterbeltusa.com/ ). 2 Layers of leather with a layer of Kydex sandwiched in between for rigitity. I am sold on High Noon Holsters. Highest quality I've ever seen, and the high-ride style conceals large guns extremely well. They are expensive, but well worth it IMHO. In addition to the one in the photos, I have one for my Glock 19, which is my main carry gun. it conceals my Glock extremely well, as it rides high, and has the FBI cant, and it pulls the gun tight to the body.

High Noon at 1 3/4 right? I've never worn a holster bigger than my belt width....the extra 1/4 inch doesn't affect anything?

According to the High Noon website, their loops are 1.75", but they go on to say that a 1.5" belt is "optimal". My 1.5" gun belt is thicker than a regular belt, and I find that it fills the loops with no problems, as you can see in the photos.

Sounds and looks good, one last question. Does the sweat guard interfere at all? Dig into your side or mess with draw at all? Seems like a good idea to keep solvents and carbon, grime etc off your shirt

The sweatguard is fairly soft and molds to the gun so it is comfortable and would not interfere with the draw. That being said, I prefer the "Topless" model without the sweatguard, which is what I use with my Glock, as seen in the photos below. I just think it looks better, and provides a slightly smaller profile:

I'm ready to "pull the trigger" on a new Legion Series P229, as soon as I can find one...

I handled one at Sig....compared to what you pay for a new regular 229 I think it's worth it

Just as an FYI I purchased a new Highnoon Extreme Duty Holster for my SA XDsc 9mm on Ebay for 75.

I look forward to trying one out and if I like it maybe one for my other firearms.

Thanks for the advice!

That's a hell of a deal you got at $75.00! I paid over $175.00 for mine (Extreme Duty, Lined, for Glock 19 as pictured above). I'm sure you will like it. I have not found a better holster for CCW a larger gun OWB.

Yeah I think it is a good deal and a cheap enough price to see if I like them or not. The one I got is not lined so that accounts for a big diff in price as well
