Just wanted to check in and say hello. I'm ordering a CW45 tomorrow and I've got to admit I'm a little apprehensive. I've read a lot of good things about the gun but also a lot of negative. This forum looks very helpful, I'm looking forward to being a part of it.

Welcome! Hopefully you'll get a good one. Once in a while they do send out some crap, but the good ones are really good!

You'll be fine, it isn't the lottery. If it's not right Kahr or us will get it right.

Use good factory ammo, lube it well at first, good solid grip.

The CW45 is a good performer and has less issues than any of them.

We're here to help if you need it.

Don't listen to those fan boys. :) Seriously, most Kahr pistols run just fine right out of the box. Some don't. In that regard they are just like any other gun. If yours has any hiccups they should occur during the break-in period. There's nothing wrong with a Kahr pistol that can't be fixed. Enjoy the ride.

I ordered it today, should be in in a day or two. Can't wait to get out this weekend and try it out. I just recently got back into shooting. Used to shoot revolvers when I was young but hadn't done any in a long time. I decided if I was ever going to get any more guns I better do it now. So I got Smith & Wesson SD9ve a little while ago and now the Kahr. I always wanted a 45 and I'm really excited about this one.

Grats! I didn't shoot for about 40 years. Now my wrists just can't take it. A couple mags of .40's and I get Parkinsons. So I just ordered an AR!

The cw45 is sweet. Clean and lube it up good, shoot a hundred rounds to get the feeling of it then clean it up again. You should be good to go. Just check in if you have any problems and someone should be able to help.

Welcome by the way.
