Took my new CW45 out today for the first time. I shot 100 rounds of Winchester white box, 230 gr flawlessly. I went thru the prep from the prep thread, everything except polishing the feed ramp, I'm a little leery of doing that. The gun ran great from the first round till the last, no jams, no ftl, no fte. Recoil wasn't bad at all, I was a little worried about the grip being too aggressive but it didn't bother me much at all. I'm no marksman and I wasn't too worried about accuracy at this point but the thing was quite good, I had some really nice shots. I've got another 100 rounds of break in but so far I'm really impressed with this gun.
You picked out a nice gun. My wife and I recently retired revolvers after over 40 years of packin' and shooting them.
We have had good luck with ours and found out the little rascals shoot right where you point them.
Enjoy.

Yes, they are nice compact hand cannons. I didn't like the Kahr mag with the thick plastic floor plate, so bought a MecGar Officer's with the flush steel plate. Dremeled the feed lips a little so it works great.

I went the Officer Mag route too.

I use a Kimber 1911 Officers mag in my CW45. This mag works without any modification to the feed lips. Plug & Play.
