Second Try

This past Friday I went to my LGS and bought a CT9. Being in NY you don't buy a handgun when you buy it. The shop is doing the necessary paperwork and it should be OK to pick up in about 10 days, can't wait.
My wife and a friend went to a local indoor range today and we enjoyed shooting her 10/22 my GP100 and my friends 25 Colt 1908 (early 1900's model) and Colt 1911. About 150 rounds later you couldn't pry the grins off our faces.

You'll really like the ct9. It shoots softly in my opinion.

First range trip! Love the gun!
Picked up the ct9 yesterday and went to the range this morning. Last night I cleaned and lubricated the gun according to the instructions on this site and shot 40 rounds uneventfully, no jams, FTF, FTE. The indoor range was busy so we shot outdoors at 25 yards. Only issue is that I couldn't hit the target (12x18) three holes out of 40 rounds! I couldn't determine if I was high, low, left, or right. Next trip will be indoors at 7 yds.

Yep. Once you get used to the trigger you'll be on target just fine. 25 yards might be a bit far for the first outing. Good you had no malfunctions though.
