Is the law banning the U.S. from obtaining NSA phone records hampering our anti-terrorism efforts?

Modern day intelligence gathering has to be all inclusive. By setting up parameters we automatically put ourselves behind. The enemy doesn't wear red coats and invade in columns. They live next door and work next to us. I have nothing to hide so I have no problem having the NSA or any initialed agency listening or reading my stuff. As long as they keep the tasteful porn to themselves, no issues. And also don't collect any firearm information. And I can explain those bank deposits.

You have nothing to fear in that regard. They only collect NSA telephone numbers. They are only interested calls calls to known terrorists. They still have to get a warrant for a wire tap. The NSA couldn't care less how often you and Jocko call the phone sex line.
