Jocko, it's not a good idea to post about going on vacations. This place probably isn't so bad, but thieves look for posts like that from people in their area, and rob the homes while people are gone. Unless you want to sit at home in the dark and get the drop on some thieves. ;)

Before Jocko left he asked me to fill in for him during his absents. I'll be answering all of the technical questions directed to him and will try to include enough misspelled words and typos, so that no one misses him, too much. I've memorized all of his Jocko-isms like, "Just shoot that fokker like you stole it." and "My PM9J runs better than an illegal immigrant." I know that old Jocko can never be replaced, but a guy can hope can't he? Keep the shiny side up Jocko. I've got your back.

Naples !! My home town . Wished I had caught this yesterday . I spent my first 41 years down there . Many years riding . If you see read this while still there check out Pelican Bend on Isle Of Capri for a seafood dinner . I see the old clays group has moved out to Port of the Isles . Shotguns sticking out of the saddle bags ?? Enjoy the area . Inland riding is still nice .

Have a safe trip and happy holidays down there. We're headed for the Rockies and AZ. We're going to have fresh coffee on the roll... no searches or stops for Wifey's Starbucks... got a 2kW inverter and a Yellowtop Optima battery to power the Keurig machine. I needed a new battery for the van since mine seems to only hold 70% since I left the DC cooler on for about two days, but I'll have my backup working while we drive. I already had a 1,500 watt inverter but the Keurig needs 1,500 and the surge capability of 3kW is BS, evidently... wouldn't work. This setup does! We always carry the Keurig with us on trips to use in motels and where we're visiting, anyhow.

Anyhow, have a Merry Christmas... and a safe one... New Year's as well!
