I am pretty much a time orientated guy...setting my watch/clocks to the second, always needing to know the exact time, never like to be late for anything....

So my wife, bless her heart, got me a Slow Watch (https://www.slow-watches.com/) for Christmas, and I just love it! No minutes, no seconds, just quarter hour increments.
Guess she is telling me to slow down and enjoy life!

My watch gives me the correct time at least twice a day. I haven't had to reset it in years. :)

Seems strange with 0 on the bottom though?

Cool! I'm one of those time oriented guys too - always sync the second hand to the minute, etc. I allow for traffic and weather, and I don't remember the last time I was late for anything. It has to have been many years, and I guarantee it was my wife's fault.

Like the watch I'm a little slow, I don't get how it works, guess you know if it's daylight or night time so am and pm ain't a problem.

Not really into time myself but seems I can't live without a watch.

Well wait a gol'darn second there Col.!!!

What if that watch is worn south of the Equator? Hmmm? Then the whole things Kahbluie (a mix of Kahlua and Drambuie)!!!! Why then AM and PM are reversed, and the sun doesn't set in the west, and anyway, its the horizon moving up.

Just be thankful to your God and Country that you was born an AMERICAN where things work as they oughta, and make good common sense!

I am a WIS, aka Watch Idiot Savant.

Above, while not for Christmas, the latest put together. For the watch folks, fellow WISs out there.... plain jane Seiko Diver, remachined case, shroud made of bronze in England, hands, dial, bezel in homage to the Tudor BlackBay, and crown in the form of the Seiko "Tuna". The bezel is sort of cool, since its gorilla glass, printed from behind, and with "lume" applied over that, meaning all the symbols and numbers will glow.

Dang it, CJB, every time you post a picture of one of your unique watches I get my panties in a bind with envy! But keep it up because I love watches. Is there a website, club, or someplace I can learn about mods like that? Can all these parts be purchased or do you have to have the skills to make parts?
