Watched The Hateful Eight in glorious 70mm.
It actually seems like a three hour murder mystery movie.
I don't like murder mysteries.
Little action and that's over the top bloody - what a surprise.
Most of the three hour movie is filmed in a single room.
Was hoping for a new spin on the Spaghetti Western.
It's not that.
Not a bad movie.
But for me, disappointing.

So today I went to see a poorly rated Daddy's Home (A Will Ferrell Comedy).
Pleasantly surprised, IMHO it's not bad at all.

As for the off putting, juvenile, Star Wars.
There's no _(&(*+ way in hell I'd see that for free.

That is all...:)

I don't go to movies. Hollywood is anti-gun and I won't support Hollywood. I see it as cutting your own throat.

Rio Bravo
El Dorado
Rio Lobo
The Searchers
.... all Wayne westerns, then
The Wings of Eagles
.... a Wayne WWII classic

Then I switched channels, and got the Sushi Cinema

Godzilla (Raymond Burr version) &
Gojira (the original Japanese version, no Burr, very dark)
Godzilla vs Mothra
Godzila King of Monsters
Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla

Been a good weekend so far!

And right now.....

Nichols (with James Garner), the 1903 Harley riding Arizona sheriff

Have to add Dual at Diablo to the list of favorite Westerns.

Not really a classic.
But I'm watching Max Payne.
Mila Kunis is HOT!

Which movie do you think is the better one, Rio Bravo or El Dorado........Went to see Star Wars and it was ok but not worth the hoopla IMHO
