I've a 3.3 XD-S in 45ACP and a CW45. I have a history with each (meaning each has needed some TLC), but I like both and until recently carried one or the other. If I could have only one of the two, it would be the CW45.

Highsider, I'm not new to handgunnin', but fairly new to Kahr. I bought a CW380, and from the first shot fired downrange, to now, over 1500 rounds, I have had zero malfunctions. Yes, I found a few types of ammo that the little beast just don't like, but with anything else (and I had a huge box of jumbled up brands and types of .380 acp) this pistol has been flawless.
I hope you have the same luck with your .45! (By the way, my mostest favoritist .45 is a CZ97 with the Decocker. Bought a CZ 75 and loved it, but sold it due to unemployment so I could pay my bills. When a friend gave me his reloader that he no longer used, he also gave me thousands of .45 brass, lots of primers and about 500 bullets. So...I needed a .45! I bought the CZ, and love, love, love it, but now wish I had considered the Kahr. Anyway, long story short, best of luck, and remember, shooting is 1/10 the gun, and 9/10 the man holding the gun!

Before buying a Kahr as my EDC, I had narrowed it downed to these same 2 guns. I rented & shot them both at my local range. I liked the Kahr over the xds. The xds looks better, but the kahr felt better shooting & in my holster.
I had better grouping w/ the Kahr. I can't say for sure if that was the gun or me, but bottom line is I bought the kahr & am happy w/ my decision.
