To those of you who reload. Clean and decap and resize your brass. Seat a projectile to the proper depth and fill the cleaned primer pocket with RTV. Presto, instant snap cap.

I have heard of, and possibly even watched MTV. What is RTV?

RTV is a silicone sealer. You can get it at your local hardware or DIY store. DIY means do it yourself for those of you who were born with ten thumbs. :)

Works great. I have done that for years. Just don't throw them in with your SD loads.

I always just left the spent primer in the case and color coded the base with paint.

I always made mine out of the remains from a leather hole punch. That way I could easily replace them when they no longer performed their function.
