Citadel M1-9mm Carbine

Has anyone had a chance to check this one out yet? I really like this one and it should be 50 state legal. I'd like to know if I can put a red dot sight on it or maybe a small scope? Please chime in if you've seen it or know of it.

I have not seen this before. Long fond of the M1 carbine, I like the form factor. The only gun I don't already have but would like to have is a 9mm carbine. If this one works as good as it looks I think I might buy one. Wooden stock.

Interesting. How new to the market is the citadel firearm? If less than 18-24 months I would take a pass on it until it has seen enough service in the field that I would part with my money. Be not the first by whom the new are tried nor the last to lay the old aside.

I believe these were introduced at the 2014 Shot Show, not sure how long they've been on the market, probably not more than a year.

In that case I would wait some more. Not enough time in the market to determine if they are a worthwhile purchase or a total waste of money.

Interesting! Several years ago I was looking for an M1 Carbine, but the ones I found were too expensive. [I remembered when you could get a good one for $50 back in the 60's]. At the time I settled for a 9mm HP carbine. When that was stolen in 2011, I bought a HP 45 Carbine which I still have. I'm not a fan of HP, but both carbines have worked fine.

Did a short bit of research on the Citadel M1 9mm. It's off my list.
