Out of curiosity how many carry on a daily basis and for how many hours do you have the gun on your belt. As for me I count 14 hours on the belt and 8 hours by the bed and 2 hours on the table while I’m watching TV, that’s it all 24. I’ve seen so many get their permit and only carry when it’s convenient to them to carry. I my head it’s all mind set, do it or don’t and practice with what you carry. So just wondering how many?

From the time I get dressed until I go to bed! Every single day!

Ditto for me. I sometimes get lax on weekends but usually have the PM45 on the ankle anyhow.
I took my son to the airport this morning at 3:30am and it's now 5:45 PM. Had em on all day long today.
Don't know why, just felt good.

I get up. I take my PM45 from under the pillow. I chamber a round (having slept with it unchambered).
I get ready for work, and pocket the PM45.
I go to work and put the PM45 in my console.
I get out of work, and put the PM45 in my pocket.
I get ready for bed, unchamber the ready-to-go round, and put it under my pillow.

Repeat every day, except Sat and Sun, where I forego the work related items.

If I got my pants on I've got a gun on my belt. It's on the arm of my chair or night stand if I ain't got britches on.;)

I carry a gun 24/7. That's why I lean to the right. :)

If I'm awake and have pants with a pocket its generally in my pocket, including sitting on the couch at home. There are only a couple of places where it has to go into the console due to legal reasons.

Usually carry all hours im awake. If I got on gym shorts I usually carry the 380 since its not too heavy for the drawstring. Every now and then I nightstand it but grab it if we get a knock at the door etc

I tend to have my little Keltec .380 more then anything else. A friend told me to get a CM9 for pocket carry and I tried his but felt way too conspicuous. He had no problem but the man wore bib overalls most of the time. My P9 rides in a gutted Uncle Mikes Pancake that is nothing more then two pieces of nylon now but it requires an untucked shirt or other cover garment.

Same here, as long as I have my pants on.

Just curious if you chamber and un-chamber the same round multiple times.

All the time, even sitting at home.

I only take it off for federal buildings.

I carry in my pocket, except 1) at home and 2) where there are metal detectors. We live in an upper story condo in a secure complex, I don't carry it around in there. I leave the 380 in the suv, grab it if I go down to walk, bike, grill, etc.

Most times that I leave the house. I do forget once in awhile, not very often though. Or if I'm outside working I usually have something on me.

Whenever I'm out and about....wallet, cell phone, car keys, handgun.

I used to make a required exception for work and commercial air travel. But do neither no more.

I carry a gun only when I leave the house. Being retired, the number of hours varies according to the activity. Otherwise it is either in a safe or on my kitchen counter with my wallet and car keys.

My step father had his wallet stolen off the kitchen counter in the middle of the day. The dumb ass who stole it wouldn't have been caught if he hadn't stopped at the corner gas station and tried to use my step fathers credit card. Keep that gun on your person.

I simply don't live, hour by hour, that fearful of life's possibilities, especially in my own home. But that's just me. Do what you want.

Every time I leave the house. Otherwise, there are plenty within easy reach in the home. My grandkids are so used to hugging me and feeling a lump around my waist they think it is a growth.

When ever I go outside of the house, it's on my belt, or in my pocket. When sleeping, it's on the night stand, when showering, it's within reach. 24/7.

I carry at ALL times when out of my house. I have guns secreted in EVERY room of my home and I am never more than lunging distance, at most, from a firearm when at home.

Me neither....but I think that's just 'cause I have so/too many.

Like the rest here, if Im awake and wearing pants assume me armed...

Not awake or not wearing pants... figure me to still be within reach of one.

I carry everyday, everywhere.

I get up at 6:30 and am dress (with pistol) and downstairs by 7am.

I generally go upstairs around 11-ish. Gun is always on me unless I go physically on school grounds (truck is parked off property and gun is locked in a small under seat safe) or the the military base (once a month), then I drop it at home if possible, if not I have to go to the base armory and turn my gun in and pick it up when done, a hassle.

So, 16 to 17hrs a day.
