He's posted some info here:
https://www.facebook.com/Hickok45-264641617269/
"Apparently, Google + is more sensitive about firearms related postings and such. I never use Google+ and did not even realize the videos were being posted over there, I guess. I will keep you posted via Facebook here and the Hickok45andson channel. I have communicated with YouTube via email this morning, and hopefully, we'll be able to get the channel back up soon. I had just posted a new video."

Regards,
Greg

There's some talk that he was hacked and porn was uploaded.

Guns are better than porn to some of us.
Especially as we age.
My wife once accused me of assault with a dead weapon.

Having viewed many of Hickcock45's videos, I don't ever recall him getting "political". I'd be surprised if it were a gun issue since there are many, many gun related videos in You Tube. I hope You Tube isn't going in the same direction as eBay.

Me too!. Sadly over the next few years the US societal attitude IS creeping that way.

I think it may have been because of Google's no advertising policy. He may have mentioned Bud's Gun Shop, who sponsors him, to often.

I did not know Bud's sponsored him. That's pretty smart on their part.

I haven't watched him enough to ever hear him mention that but I enjoy his video's immensely. Be a blast to hang out with that guy and who wouldn't want to have his range. Wicked cool.

I knew that Bud's sent him guns for evaluation. If you look at Bud's auctions they have Hickcock45 reviewed guns available.

You're right, I've never heard him say anything like " buy from Bud's" But is just the mention that Bud supplies him enough to cause this ?

Yet this is only MHO

IMHO most likely it is the fact that Google+ is virulently anti-gun and some of his videos were, without his knowledge, being shared on Google+. He doesn't really advertise per se but he does occasionally mention his suppliers.

Now that you mention that I have seen those at Bud's. Guess I just never made the connection.

Hickock45 has done off site shows from Bud's Gun Shop.

You Tube was started by three former PayPal employees and was sold to Google. Both PayPal and Google are anti-gun.

There is a movement out now more than ever flood gun sites with B/S. Such as this add on local armslist from someone with restraining order looking to buy gun....so they can go "see how easy it is to media". Please flag this sob.

I'm looking to buy a Semi Automatic pistol. I'm pretty open to possibilities - please let me know what you have available and what you are asking for it. Due to some BS from an ex-girlfriend I can't get anything from a regular store. Willing to pick up in Minnesota or neighboring states if it's not to far out. If you have a place where I can test fire it, that would be much appreciated.

On a positive note....I e mailed armslist bringing it to their attention and they pulled ad!:amflag:

That's one big plus to armslist. I've reported ad's a couple times and they remove them very quickly.

Another instance where Greg saved me big time. I was ready to order a too good to be true rifle and based on his research I don't think they even had the rifle. At least they were in SE Washington, I would have drove down, found them and got my monies worth out of their back side.

I know that online content is monitored by automated processes and like mentioned on Hickoks explanation video it requires 3rd or 4th level escalation to get a resolution,

BUT,

I would bet that part of the repeated shutdown issue is because google/youtube has an application scanning for firearm content because either:
a) they are anti firearm, or
b) they are trying to comply with the new Obama executive order cracking down on firearm "sales" over the Internet, or
c) they are trying to avoid a federal investigation, or
d) all of the above.

Answer is probably D.
