I had to buy a box just to say I have it. Not sure if I will ever shoot them, but never seen them on the shelf so I thought, what the heck :cool:

They are wicked looking rounds. I kept one as an historic sample in my ammo collection. They can sell for big bucks because they are semi-collectable.

The Winchester Ranger T +P is what I carry, but they come with a copper clad bullet. Good ammo.

Now what would be even more evil looking would be the special Darth Vader edition made with the Winchester Black Talon bullet in a old style Hornady Black Nickle Case. Yeah, I'd buy that.

I still have a few boxes in 40 S&W. I'm in the process of shooting them up for target practice. I think some of the new stuff is just as good if not better and I've always been afraid of how an over zealous prosecutor might spin it to the jury if I ever had to use them in self defense.

My current carry ammo is Hornady TAP or Critical Defense depending on the gun.

My carry ammo is Fiocchi 124 gr. JHP since I have a bunch of it. I also have some Federal Hydro Shok 135 gr JHP. I haven't tried the Hydro Shok's so I haven't carried with them yet. Like I said, I just got them to say I have them :)
