To this day, it's never been explained why within that time frame, no counter-attack was ever mounted. My theory is the administration was asleep at the wheel and swept the details under a rug which generally happens when leading from behind.
Oh now I get it, a group of young Muslim men carrying small arms, automatic weapons, RPGs, and mortors that evening, after having viewed a disturbing video about their religion, happened to be strolling past the embassy and decided to voice their opposition to the video by attacking the embassy not once, but several times. The administration decided the proper action was to monitor the event on tv via drone but decided to do nothing since, ". . . at this point, what difference did it make?"

This movie shows what difference the truth makes.

Stick your administrations collective fingers in your ears and hope it goes away. What a seven long years this has been.

I saw this and saw it through the eyes of a former soldier with combat experience. It is intense and excellent movie.
Sadly there is only minor interest in this movie in social media or even here. It was a critical event and presented objectively.
As with anything serious few of today's generation "give a damn". Even fewer ever wore a military uniform serving their country.

Sadly, the urban young men of today have been fighting wars since they were teenagers and are war-weary with calloused fingers compliments of their video game sets to prove it. Should ISIS ever set foot on American soil, I fear these men will not be showing up at the recruiting centers but rather heading North to Canada. Their ARE young, patriotic men in this country. They live where life is hard like the Northern farmlands, the deep South, the Western desert states, the heartland, and other such places. These are men who still take the pledge of allegiance seriously and sing the National Anthem standing on their feet at football games. Yes, these patriots show up in places like Benghazi and thank God for that!

I don't know if this is true or not, but supposedly the reason for the "stand down" orders was that they wanted Ambassador Stevens dead. He found out they were shipping arms to the Syrian Rebels through Turkey, and was going to spill the beans, and they wanted him silenced before he announced that fact. They wanted to keep the arms shipping to the Syrian rebels secret as long as they could. There were several actions that could have been taken if not for the "stand down". Supposedly one high ranking officer said screw the stand down and was going to attempt a resuce, at which point his 2nd in command, a CIA plant, relieved him of his command.
Yes everyone should see this. I hope that if somehow Hillary gets the nomination, they will show it on TV before the election. Like they should have show Obama's 2016 on TV before the 2012 election. The MSM of course is going to dismiss the film as propaganda, since it doesn't fit in with their agenda. Alternative Media loves it.

From a contractor I heard the same thing "TheTman" heard.

Well stated and I believe you are exactly right. Thank you.
And when the runners head north of the border they should not be allowed back in.

This Friday a friend and I are going shooting, then to lunch, and then to see an early matinee of the movie. An all-around good day I think.
