My unicorn gun just got a whole lot closer. Sig is starting to produce their P210 series here in the states dropping the MSRP to as low as $1200. Until now, German and Swiss used models were scarce and very expensive. But I'm curious what will happen to that used market now. Hmmmmm.

I think it depends on how many they produce. A pricey target gun indeed, and the average joe can buy 2 nice firearms for that money. A nice firearm, not my cup o tea. Sig's grips are a tad large for my hands. Once everyone who wants one, purchases one, the rest could really dump.
I've shot P210's.... I wasn't all that impressed, in comparison to, say, the HP Competition, as far as shootable accuracy is concerned.
They're a beaut though. The slide to frame fit is smoother than the inside of your girlfriends thigh.
The triggers are.... "European" but very workable. (aka a little mushy but predictable)
Accuracy way way way better than I can shoot, with good ammo of course.
And therein is the rub: The 9mm is not conducive to really great accuracy, imho, because of its slight taper in the case, as compared to straight walled 45, etc etc.
You CAN make it accurate, but handloads or factory loads that happen to fit your chamber well, are a must.
Still.... I might break my own rule against 9mm handguns for a P210 USA made.

I'm not really a 9mm fanatic either. My MK9 is the only one I've hung onto. But I've always thought the P210 is beautiful...not just a good shooter. I'm curious to see how many they produce and what happens to the market. I'm also curious to see exactly what changes they made. This is good for me. Thanks.
