I installed 3 sets of the Lakeline Al mag followers in my PM9 magazines. Range results are
Fantastic. Zero issues with 3 different bullet weights. Slingshot or using slide release work great.
I'm a happy camper. Thanks Lakeline. ;)

Well thank you sir!

For those looking for .40 and .45, I found the status on the .40 and .45 followers today. The anodizer dropped the parts and messed up some of them. They sat on a desk until calls started coming in. They should have them coated in a couple of days, the bad ones will get sorted out, and I should be in business the end of the week or 1st part of next week. It would have been nice not to have the delay. We'll just make more as we need them, and supposedly still most of the order are still good.

Alright! I just ordered three followers for my cm9, and was wondering if you were gonna do some for .45. I guess you answered my question.

I just ordered 3 for my CM9. If they work as well as I expect I'll be ordering more for the rest of my mags.

I keep checking on the .40's to try in my P40. I'm still trying to sort it out... may need some extractor/pin work, but hoping the followers help, too. I would sure like to see a quantity discount for multiple orders, though.

A flat metal base for the .45 mags like the one for the 9mm/.40's would be nice, too. I'm looking for minimum protrusion for CCW.

Can't do much with CM/PM45 to make it flush, mag itself sticks out a bit. Seems i saw a post where someone reformed the mag bottom and made it flush. Alphonse, keep us posted on the 40/45 followers, if you please. I'll then order 9 & 45s at the same time. Thanks!

Will do. Supposedly they will be here next week, but they said that before I went to SHOT too.

Will the followers for PM9 mags work in MK9 mags? Kahr lists the same mag part number for both. Unless I missed something, the Lakeline site does not list the MK9 under the PM9 follower. Thanks.

I probably missed something ;) Yes, they are the same mags and followers. I will update the Lakeline site. Thanks!

I put in the first three mag followers today (two more on the way.) I can rack the slide to load the first round all day. Did it about 25 times for each mag. Alfonse, sir, you are a genius.

Thanks for the quick response, Alfonse. I just ordered a follower for my MK9 from you.

In the ~700 rounds since break-in I have been averaging 1 failure per 139 rounds with various ammo. About half of these are FTF even though I always rack using the slide release. I am hoping the new follower eliminates the FTFs, thus cutting failures in half. Though I use the MK9 mainly as a range gun (for cheaper 9mm practice simulating the trigger of my CW380) I might occasionally carry it if I can get the reliability up. Right now my two preferred carries are the CW380 and an LC9S. The Ruger has never had a failure.

I wish your followers had been available a couple of years ago. I bought a new CM9 that broke followers like clockwork. Not a good start with Kahr. I tweaked the ramp length with a Dremel, Kahr sent me some spare followers and that ended that. Some time later I traded it. Not long after that the new owner contacted me saying the frame had cracked and he had returned it to Kahr. Guess it was pretty much an all-around lemon. Obviously, I did not give up on Kahr though.

Alfonse, when will the 45 followers be ready? Will they be listed on the website? I'd like to get 4.

Why does Kahr not offer these? So silly. They could just buy them from Lakeline.

I am also becoming a fan of Lakeline. Received the grip for my MK9. Huge difference.

Today, I received the new followers for my P9, MK9 and CM9. All work as advertised.

I only with they were available for my CW 380

Give them a little time. My spidey senses tell me that they'll have them one day.

Quick question..
How would the new Lakeline follower make sling-shoting a full magazine more effective when the follower is at the bottom of a full magazine?

The ammo fans out in the mag because it's tapered, and the angle of the follower top surface affects this fan.
The Lakeline follower pushes more towards the front and keeps the top round up against the mag lips.

When we modify stock followers to do this, it becomes thinner/weaker towards the rear, but the Lakeline follower, being re-engineered not just modified, is stronger/stronger material.
This follower mod is well documented in other threads, with pics.

I am willing to pay for quality. It should have came that way from the factory. It annoys me that Alphonse had to make them when Kahr should have. I am thankful for guys like him who solves problems and he deserves to make money doing so. :)

I've been away from this forum for a while and I'm glad to see this thread. I plan on getting a couple of these soon for my PM9.
