I like that too.
Various M1 Carbine kits have been available over the years for the 10/22 but its still cool to see it from Ruger themselves

Yep, but that's the first one I've seen with a rail.
Me too, but others had the rear sight in military fashion... its still very very cool

I wonder if the larger Mini-14 peeper would fit on that rail ?

Oh baby, I like that. It would look great with one of those 25 or 30 round magazines sticking out of the bottom of it. That optics rail is a nice feature too.

I bought a 10/22 when they first came out. It was a great little plinker. Could be it's time to buy another one.

Bought one for my first son the day he was born in 1968. The nice walnut stocks were standard then. Bought two more in the '70s when our other two boys arrived. They have kept them all in near perfect shape since.

I've had two Ruger 10/22s.
Put a Bushnell scope on one.
I couldn't miss anything.
Bottle caps, at distance, whatever.
Shooting wasn't fun anymore.
Pulled the scope off and never used it again.
The gun is already deadly accurate.
And I'm an old school iron sights guy.
Go figure?

The 10/22 I have is walnut/blued but I REALLY love the way that one looks. I'll have to see if I can't "sneak" another one that is blued into the house without the wife noticing. I'm not interested in the rail, though, so looks like I'll have to get the stock separate.
