Hi, my name is Bob, and I'm a gun junkie.

Well I thought I was done with gun buying, but the urge is coming back. I'm wanting a PM or a MK 9.

I have a p380.

I own .380, .38, .357, .45 and carry all on a rotational basis. I also reload for each caliber.

I don't feel I NEED a 9mm, it's the WANTS that's eating me inside.

I've been looking at the PM 9 and the MK 9. Really like the MK9. Really like the PM9.

How many of you out there would buy a PM 9 or a MK 9 anyways?

Help me make a decision or get past this urge.

Bob, I feel your pain. There is a help group for your affliction called "Kahrtalk". Oh, we're here already! My Pm9 is my EDC, but the Mk is so georgeous! That is my next want. Hell, you can get an Mk9 for just a small bit more than the Pm9. You need both! I'm not much help, I realize.

You will end up with both. Asking to choose between the two is like asking to choose one just one of your children. They are both unique and desirable in their own ways.

Look at it this way. You don't a 9. You need 2 in case something happens to one of them.

My issue is deciding which Kahr to carry, CW45, K40, PM40, CW9 or CW380.

That sounds awful[emoji4] .

I've been thinking I need a 40 s&w. Buds has tp40, 9, and 45 for dirt cheap right now, but I I'm really hoping to get a k40. How do you like your k40 sharpetop?

Get the MK9 first. Then you can complain that the fact that it's heavier forced you buy the PM9. Were there's a will there's a way.

I bought a CM9 for carry and a MK9 with wood for show. It's IWB concealed carry for the CM and belt carry for the MK9.

I agree. I started with a P9 and then decided that I had to have a K9 Elite.
Next is either a PM9 or MK9. I'll probably end up with both sooner or later...

Since I got my CM45 broke in, that's been pretty much all I carry any more. With a CW 6 round magazine for my spare mag. It's just so small and handy that it's the one I grab, unless I need to go through a certain part of town, and then I take a larger capacity backup and spare mag and put in my console.

Here in my house we have the 50/50 rule. Whatever I spend, the wife gets an equal amount to spend. Seems it doesn't go the other way. She spends, I get nothing. Except when the birthday or anniversary rule kicks in!

I noticed the PM9 has a 5 year warranty, the MK9 has a "limited lifetime" warranty...anyone know what that is?

It's easier to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission.

"Limited Lifetime Warranty" means if you buy an MK9 without telling your wife, your "lifetime" may be "limited". :o

Buy a CM9. Use the money saved over the PM9 to help finance the MK9.
Then buy a CW9.

I bought an MK9, then an H&K P2000SK, then an M&P 40C.................................variety, the spice of life in the gun world.

Bob, if you are interested you are more than welcome to shoot both my P9 and K9 to see if that will help you in your decision. Obviously, they're larger than the PM9 and the MK9 but it might help in your decision since otherwise they're quite similar.

I thought this was about Irritable Bowel Syndrome.....

There was a thread somewhere about 9mm and 223 rounds as being the most available if TSHTF as they are std in LEO and Military,I thought that made a lot of sense.

Appreciate the offer, but just had my taxes done and gotta pay off the feds before I get anything. I guess we had a tax increase somewhere, I owe about 600.00 bucks more than last year with only a 50.00 income increase.
