Love my PM9 but it has a cracked frame!

I've had this gun for a few years now and I have about 500 rounds through it, maybe. While going through my safe I pulled it out and looked it over and noticed the crack in the frame. I wrote Kahr tonight and via the website requested a RA #. Will keep you guys posted on how this goes. Great little pistol, never had a misfeed and I've carried in my front pocket quite a few times over the years. All I ever shot out of it was ball and a about a box of my carry ammo, 9mm +p speer gold dots. That's a very early model with a pinned on access cover rather than the tiny little screw. A good setup.

Hope they take care of it for you. Don't think I've ever heard of one cracking there.

I do not believe it is a crack, but rather the design of the access cover. Did you send the Picture up to Kahr? Unless I am not seeing what your are. Unless you are referring toward the rail. (which I think may be just normal.

I had a CM9 that looked like it had a cracked frame, down around the grip area. I later learned it was just the way the frame was molded. I tried everything before that to see if I could flex the frame and make the "crack" spread. It never budged. I think Kahr's gonna tell you there is no issue.
