Greetings fellow Kahr owners, Im a long time gun enthusiast,.. but first time Kahr owner, I carefully chose the CM9 due to its deep concealabilty,.. I owned several S&W 59 series and when I first decided I wanted a sub-compact I had my eye on a M&P Shield,... that is till I saw the size difference to the CM9. Since the sole purpose of this purchase was 'easy' carry, I chose the ladder.
My question is this; I got a smoking deal at Gunbroker on this "New Old Stock" CM9, the dealer I purchased from says the gun is about a year and a half old and was "show cased" for display and never fired. So the question is, has Kahr changed any features of the CM9 in the past two yrs. I know there was an issue with followers cracking, was this ever addressed by Kahr or are they still produced the same. ?
Thank you in advanced,... and any help with my new purchase is welcome !

Can't really tell you about any changes they've made in the CM9. Don't thing so. However. My CM9 is a little over 3 years old with approx. 2500 flawless rounds through it. As such it is my constant companion. It disappears so well my family can't even tell I have it. Hope you have that kind of service out of yours. Welcome to the club!!

Thank you Deadeye,... I am hoping for a similar experience.
I don't think you will have problems with followers in the CM9 series. You can upgrade to a metal follower, however, through lakeland.com. Great products. CM9 is my EDC pocket carry.

Mine is about 3 years old also and has been perfect as well. Shoot the snot out of that puppy and don't worry about it. If you should have an issue there are several Kahr Gurus here ready and willing to help. BTW the website for the metal followers is lakelinellc.com.

Welcome! You have chosen wisely grasshopper.
I have both a PM9 w/CT laser and a plain jane CM9; I choose to carry whichever I think best at the time. Usually it is the PM, but for extremely covert carry the CM has a bit smaller footprint since it does not have the extra bulk of the CTL.
Be sure to read the "stickies" in the "Kahr Tech" section concerning various topics such as break-in and lubrication. There is much info there that will ease your ownership.
