I like Kahr's trigger -- I handled a CM9 yesterday. I have an opportunity to get a TP9 at a really good price -- about the same price as a CT9 -- but I have a sense that this older (?) stock may not last long as Kahr is readying to launch Gen2. However, spending ~$1500 for the 6" barrel Gen2 is just not financially feasible -- and that gun, IMO, is overpriced. I really set out to get the CM9 and see if it works for pocket-carry, but those Gen1 TP9's, will they last, or be sold out quickly? Thoughts? I would like to hit things at 100 yards with the TP9, and it might serve as IWB or as a range gun.

I think the Gen 2's will be in addition to the current line, not a replacement of.
The TP 9's will be around for quite a long spell I'm thinking.

Since they last a long long long time it really isn't an issue anyhow. If they do quit making them you'll have a rare one but I don't think that's gonna happen.

I got to play with the Gen 2 guns in the booth at SHOT. The triggers were really nice, FWIW.

Were the triggers $800-to-$1500 nice? Do you think the Gen2's will stay that high or might prices come down by the time I'm even older?

BTW: Alfonse: Does your "Ultimate Striker" for the .380's reduce trigger pull any?

They did not have pricing. They are a quality piece. As a range toy, they would be competing with all sorts of pistols for me. I would probably get a CZ Shadow for $1500.

The strikers do not change the trigger pull at all.

Thanks!
