Hi Guys,

New here, and have been looking for a pistol for a long time and couldn't find any double-stacks that felt right in my hand. Was in a local shop the other day and they had a used CT9 for $300. I, like many, think of Kahr as very expensive so was surprised at the price. When I held it it was love at first hold though the CT9 is bigger than I want so did my research and settled on a CW9 or CW45 - both $335 at Bud's. Would prefer the 45 other than ammo cost. I tried a 9 and 45 the other day in a gun shop and noticed the 9's trigger broke way back while the 45 broke significantly earlier. I know Kahrs have an intentional long trigger pull, but the 9 seemed really long. Is this common from model to model or gun to gun? Do I need to try several until I find one I like?

Thanks,

Rick

Kahr makes three triggers. Of the models you listed, they all have pretty much the same length and weight of pull. Older K9s may, (probably), have a longer pull. "Enhanced" models have the shortest pull.

My pm9 breaks nearly all the way back, where my cm45 breaks about 2/3 the way back. Doesn't really matter to me, I pull till they go bang! Love them both.

Hmm, I feel like my cw45s break a bit sooner as well. But the feel is that same smooth kahr trigger!
