I just brought my new p9 home after a 250 round break in and I must say, I'm glad I picked this gun up. It ran flawlessly! However, I was having some trouble picking up a sight picture with the bar-dot sights. I'm getting a heavy glare under certain lighting conditions on the face of the front sight surrounding the white dot, causing it to blend in. Anyone know of an easy fix for this issue without having to replace the sights? I really like the look of the factory and do not want to go to 3-dot tritium ones. Thanks in advance.

My first thought would be paint the dot another color (orange, red, neon green0, etc.).
Beyond that:
Try painting the face with a flat black paint,
Rough the face up with something (file, sandpaper, emery board, etc.) then cold blue it.
..or just apply some cold blue and let it set for a while...this usually leaves some rough residue that should be non reflective. just don't go overboard with the amount of cold blue because too much, left on to long, might pit the metal.
I'd go with painting the dot.

Thanks for the response, I tried painting the front sight red but it still disappeared a bit, I'll try the other methods you mentioned. If not, I just noticed that xs makes a bar-dot sight for the p9 so I may go with those.
