Are the MK40 and MK9 Guide Rod and spring interchangeable?

I now have both a MK 40 and a MK9. I have the stainless steel guide rod for the MK9 and it works well. Is this interchangeable with the MK40?

I can't say for certain but a side by side comparison should tell us for sure. I believe they are the same but again I can't say that's the gospel truth.

The original rsa's are the same & interchangeable in my mk9 & mk40 so I would guess the ss rods & springs would work.
