CM9 on order and will be here shortly. Is there anything I need to do to it other than clean it and fire at least 200 rounds through it? Any tips?
Thanks!

After cleaning, shoot it like you stole it.....😀

Just keep shooting it, you'll both be better for it. Mine is a constant companion.

Howdy from Austin, Texas.
Now clean, shoot to break it in (maybe 200 rounds), get comfortable with a good holster, and repeat often.

I did all the things i saw on here and I have never had any issues.
Polish feed ramp and edge of chamber. (I actually polished the entire barrel outside so it's pretty, but whatever)
Check mag and polish under side of lips while it was apart.
Check take down pin retention spring.
Clean and lube as per diagram
Check clearance of slide stop pin with rounds in mag.
I polished the mag too while it was apart.
I racked it 300 times and then left it locked open for 36 hours.
Then I shot it 150 rounds.
Went well, cleaned and lube again, then shoot more and repeat. I'm up to 1100 ish rounds now. Once I got to round 800 or so, the thing is ready. It felt completely different at that point. It was loose and I was used to the thing. It shoots really well now.
I can't wait to shoot it again!
