Well a few months ago....my Dad got this P380 new from our LGS....they had two of them and they were brand new....both seem to hang up at different points....he brought it back to the shop and they said this is normal with this model.....this seems very odd to me...they told him to shoot it and it would get better....well he has run different ammo and has about 300 rounds thru it and it still does it..it does not do it everytime....but it does it 2 or 3 times from one clip.....it almost looks like to me that the metal inserts into the polymer frame are not straight and true.....Dad is frustrated and not sure what to do...i suggest to sent it to Kahr....anyone else seen this?.....both of the guns the LGS did the same thing.....and they have become no help at all....any help will so be appreciated...thanks in advance God Bless John

What do you mean by "sticks"? Do you mean the slide stop engages?

It's possible that he got one with a bad frame. If so, a trip back to Kahr is in order. Have him call Kahr Service, advise them about the problem and they will issue him a return authorization number. Have him request a prepaid mailing label, or return the gun through the LGS. The mailing label won't cost him anything and returning the gun through your LGS is the least expensive alternative. If the problem is in the frame Kahr will replace it and it will have to be returned to him through your LGS. The new frame constitutes a new gun under current BATF rules and that will require another NICs background check. Sorry to hear that your dad is having a problem with his P380. After my P380 frame was replaced the gun ran smoother than a baby's butt. I carry my P380 during every waking hour. Best pocket pistol that I've ever owned.

Where in the cycle is it stopping? Is it hanging up as the round is angled going into the chamber?
