I now have a fully functional and great shooting cw380. After purchasing it, the slide would not lock back with one mag. Determined it to be a follower and contacted Kahr, they sent me out a new follower..kudos to them. That took care of the problem although I had already purchased a magguts kit for that mag and it too took care of the lock back problem as well.

I had a problem with every round not going full battery and would have to push it forward with my thumb to get it to fire. It did this with all the ammo I tried, magtech, Browning Court and even American Eagle. So thanks to some posts here, I removed the rear ejector spring pin and removed 4 thousand of an inch. I chose to do this over the ejector mod since the pin is 1.99 and the ejector is 17.00.

Took her to the range yesterday, not a burp or hiccup, she ate Magtech, and American eagle to a tune of 150 continual rounds, without any malfunctions. I tried a mag of browning court that I had and it would not fully chamber them so those will go into the S&W bodyguard. I am very pleased with the results and thank you to all you guys that tinker and problem solve then share it with us.

Just like the older carburetor Harleys, to get rid of the burps and farts you need to tweak them, I guess Kahr pistols are not any different.

Some people wouldn't have had the patience. Good to see it working again......................The older Harley's are much louder than the cw:p

That's what makes these little pistols so dear to us. If you get a good one out of the box, as most are, hooray! If you have to tinker a bit to get it good, no big deal, lots of help here and a sense of accomplishment when it does run good.

Nice to hear! I went with the CT380 to have a longer grip than the CW380 has but it still disappears in my IWB holster under a tee shirt. Plus it has much lower recoil as the Ruger LCP I previously had. I don't know if that's from the stiff springs in the CT380, 3 fingered grip or what - probably a combination. But I really disliked firing the LCP so that was no good as I like to shoot often with a personal carry weapon. So far I have had zero issues with the CT380 with around 150 rounds through it so far. Enjoy the CW380!
