...so, even though I had a bad experience with my P380, I liked the gun. Loved the smooth as glass trigger and being my shop had a used CW45 for a good price, I thought why not. If it has issues, it will go back to Kahr with the P380 :) I think the 380 issues are magazine related though. I will use this gun as a "truck" or back pack gun, something to keep around in my vehicle but may even carry it as well. I've included a few pics of it, alone, with the P380 and my XDs 4.0 45 ACP which has been a work horse of a carry gun for me. It has at least 3000 rounds through it, rarely skips a beat. The XDs took some time to get used to but the grip on the CW45 feels a bit better in my hand but that doesn't always equate to better shooting. I'll see tomorrow at the range.

Congrats on the CW45 and thanks for sharing the photos :)
My first Kahr was a CW45. I still have it and must say, that even though there have been some bumps along the way, it's my favorite Kahr and one of my favorite pistols in .45 ACP.
Like you, I also have an XD-S. I like the look of the 4.0, but mine is a 3.3 in 45ACP. I've had one since they first came out and have this one tweaked (Ameriglo sights and a few modifications) to the point that I like it very much and carry it quite often.

Very nice, I too had the 3.3 but always ended up carrying my 4.0, I like the extra barrel length for ammo. Nice pics!

So, I'm 0 for 2 with my two new Kahrs (both used). My CW45 had all sorts of FTF today. My XDs shot like a champ, it has over 3000 rounds through it and is well broken in. I ordered a new recoil spring for the CW45 but I think it may need to go back to Kahr.

Standard failure to feed, round would not feed into the chamber. Happened with JHP and FMJ.

Thank you for clarifying what type of feed issues you are having. Do you have more than one magazine for it? We have seen some with the spring installed incorrectly.
I've also sent you a PM with another thought about your CW45.

I'll look, I did get a new recoil spring today and was interesting was the difference in length between the two. The new one was at least 1/2 inch longer. I've had guns in the past in which once the recoil spring was going out, it started having FTF.
