Well me and Buzzard 45 made it to our big gun show at Oaks yesterday and true to his word downtownv made it too. Man that was a big show if we didn’t walk 5 miles it sure felt like it. It was a pleasure to meet downtownv in person, we looked at A LOT of guns and accessories. I did eye up several Ruger GP 100 s that where there just couldn’t pull the trigger to get one. Some very cool guns at the show. Did pick up a few things but didn’t break the bank but had a great time. So here’s some pictures from the show

Now downtownv on the other hand being the shrewd man he is was looking for the widows special colt python for not a penny more than $475 (just kidding) if he moved his thumb over you’d see the real price.

Well Harry, I WAS on a mission to find that elusive $500 colt python!
I did, but the dealer clearly had a typo on his sticker.... 4500 the 4 should have been a $ 500.
I told him I would take 2 if he fixed the sticker
All in all, we (buzzard45, was with us as well) had a good day. It was nice to meet up with fellow Kahrtalk members! We saw multiple Kahrs, none of which were any bargains. Enough AR's to outfit a Marine rifle company, plenty of available ammo, reloading supplies and Philly Cheesesteaks! (Can't shop on an empty stomach)
The show keeps getting bigger and bigger and after seeing 2/3rd of it, I had a 88 mile trip back to the Jersey shore. Bought some 30-30 ammo in case any renegade deer need to be put down (have not seen on on the beaches yet) and a Block Knife sharpener, which is rather impressive for an inexpensive sharpener.

Looks like a cool show. They don't allow no pictures at our shows. Your out the door if you get caught.
We have one this weekend, not sure if I'll go or not. A bit under the weather and not much loot.
Like to go look anyhow.

It took some brave men to go up against that Gatling gun, not only could it kill but it looks like a hit will tear a man apart. Bits and pieces of people strewn all over the battlefield.

Funny you mentioned that.... Valley Forge is a town or two away and Gettysburg not much further. Plenty of bloody stumps buried there, I'm sure.

I got a sharpener sold under a different name at our local gun show a year ago. I'm amazed at how well it does. It keeps a razor edge on my Craftsman pocket knife and I've even sharpened serrated blades and they came out super sharp.

I never had my serrated's this sharp when they were brand new!
It has always peeved me to pay to get into a gun show. I'm not sure why. I pay to shop at Costco. I pay to shop on Amazon, though what I'm really paying for is two day shipping. I willingly spend more for quality items. But $10 to get into a gun show just chaps me.

You're not far from me. Where do you choose to shop and shoot?
I've been to all the suburban shops and even though it's one of the further ones I seem to spend the most money at Tanner's.

My range is Shooters in LEH. Belonged to Brick Armory for years until the NJ Tax Man shut them down....
I always prefer the "pre-Owned" vs new on Gun Purchases. reloading supplies I gotta Guy in Delaware, that always has what I need at a great price.

Buzzard45 and Harry Lee are the Pennsy boys....I prefer the beaches, wacko Liberal politicians and corrupt high taxes ;)
And draconian firearm laws. My regular excursions to your beautiful state start with me standing at my safe considering the alternatives. Spending days with my family always wins but I hate having to make that decision.

Funny that you say Tanners I’ve been working on a house over that way only about 3 miles from Tanners. Some days when I have a pay day I drive the other way to stay away from the gun shop, now I love firearms and I can get in real trouble in there and as always the bills never quit, but sometimes there is enough money to go shopping. :)
