Hello again all!

I figured I would throw my .02 here about holster options. I have experimented over the years with different brands/styles such as IWB OWB, Kydex, Leather, Nylon etc.

I found my favorite at this time to be the Sticky Holster by Sticky Holster as found here ===> http://stickyholsters.com/
I am in no way sponsored by them, or get anything in return by mentioning them. I simply have tried so many and was lucky to find these.

I purchased 1 holster for my CM9 and 1 for my CT380. And a universal Ankle rig.

The texture on these holsters is very unique! Its soft to the touch like foam but more solid. Its VERY high in friction which is where it gets the name Sticky! but it's not sticky like glue or tacky at all to where you would be worried about lint building up and rendering the surface useless. The material seems durable and quality made which they backup with a lifetime warranty!

They are designed to be used either IWB or pocket carry!

I love the design because of the almost limitless options for wear.
It can be worn at any point around the waist, although I like around 4 o'clock for myself
You can use with or without a belt, so joggers with sweat pants or shorts would use these.
You can add a little cant either forward or back to your liking.
With the ankle rig, you can use the same holster as a ankle carry holster. The ankle strap sandwiches the sticky holster between 2 layers of sticky material so there is no chance of it falling out. And again the position is highly customized as when you position the holster you can position it higher or lower, forward or backward cant etc.

I have never seen such a universal system before and take full advantage of this. I will get some pics hopefully for you all to see.

Only con I can see is lack of retention. If you need retention this may not be for you.

Similar to the Remora Holster. I first one for my Kel-Tec and now I have one for every handgun. They are cheap and work well, so I use them for storage as well.

Thank you Jayo, I'm going to give sticky holster a try with the universal ankle rig. Finally a Swiss army knife of holsters.

I use a OWB Versa carry slide holster. The cost is $19.99 and are and of quality leather. They hold the gun in close and snug. Have spent a lot more for a a lot less. Go to their website and take a look, pretty reasonable.

Well, I tried the sticky holster and found it to be unacceptable for my needs. I'm usually wearing dress slacks and it pulls my pocker inside out retrieving my pistol. I think it would be perfect for jeans or cargo pants, dress pants not so much. I also got the ankle wrap but haven't tried it, because 90% of my need would be pocket. At this point I may ebay it.

Well I have to come back and correct myself. After letting it break in (stretch) for a few days, I am now very happy with it. My CM9 now withdraws fron the holster even in jogging pants. However the ankle bitter is still not cup of tea.

I haven't used the Sticky holster but have used a couple that are similar. I first used a Desantis Superfly when I was trying to pocket carry an LCP. I discovered that I am just not a pocket carrier. Any pocket. The holster is great. I just couldn't get used to having stuff in my pocket. I used it for IWB carry for the LCP and it worked pretty well. It is non-slip but not really sticky. I also have a Remora holster that I have used to carry several different guns. I think the Remora and the Sticky are very similar. I bought one to fit a 2" J frame revolver. Works pretty well. My EDC, for a very long time, has been a S&W 642 carried IWB with a Desantis Clip-Grip. I am currently trying to get used to a new CM9. I bought a Concealment Express IWB holster for it. If I can learn how to shoot the darned thing I think it will be a good rig!

I saw this threads title, and thought it was about datin' your holsters. Bait n switch as usual.
Speakin' of bait, its Friday, so the ol' lady won't be home from work till late, so I can get some fish feedin' in.
