Picked up a Beretta Pico .380 last Saturday and this is one nice shooting little gun, very thin and light and a big improvement over the last 2 LCP's I had which were ok but pinched my finger and the last one would drop magazines...I found this Pico for $329.00 and there is a $50.00 rebate until the end of April...The Pico went through a long stretch of growing pains much like the Kahr P380 did....The Gen 1 Picos had lots of problems FTE and stove pipes being the biggest issue....Beretta had duel recoil springs in the first model pistols to handle +P ammo but it made the guns almost impossible to rack the slide and caused jams with standard pressure ammo....My Pico is a Gen 2 enhanced model with one recoil spring (still hard to rack the slide) and they reshaped the magazine followers somewhat....So far 200 + down range and not a single problem....Kahr isn't the only company that had .380 teething problems and I think both Kahr and Beretta were using their customers for beta trials to see what needed to be done to get the little buggers to shoot right and from reading some posts over on the Beretta forum it seems that Beretta customer service isn't so great about addressing known issues and many of the original owners got turned off to the Pico because of the problems with their guns and the lack of customer service....To Beretta's credit they finally did recognize the problems and offered to upgrade the Gen 1 pistols at no charge but shipping was on the customers dime....So far I'm liking this little gun and it disappears in a pocket and you forget it's there....Little .380's aren't for everybody but no one gun is but for me, this one's a keeper

Glad to hear they fixed some issues. I have to cure my 1911 addiction before I can buy one of those but it would be nice to add.

You know those are dome weird looking things, but I still wanted one. I got a thing for mouse guns.
