I saw this on Facebook. How many primary rules for gun safety did Tweedle Dee and his partner break here!!!??
How NOT to test your laser....

I had the grip laser on my K9 and I always felt unsafe activating the laser because it was too much like pulling the trigger! One would assume that there was a target downrange to point at... anything other than a part of your body! The guy to his right must have been a doofus to just watch the guy do that!

I did precisely the same thing Wyn. I took it off.
I feel the same way about AR's with 27 accessories all activated by pressure switch.
It's sensory overload to figure out what's gonna happen when you push what.
I bet that had to hurt, looked like a 380 or a 9 so probably won't leave a mark though.

Looks like the laser works well - he hit right where it was aimed! I like the little two step dance he did.

no, stop, no don't..... ahhh, jayysuz! I'm too squeamish for this board.
Who was watching the lanes? Couldn't they yell at him, or something? Hey, sh!t head! Put the gun down on the bench now! Leave it! Come on out here! You're banned for life. Kill yourself somewhere else.

Reminds me of the people who use a match to see if their gas tank is empty. A candidate for a Darwin Award.

Boy muggsy I was just thinking of that!!!! I’ve seen that too. Now I feel sorry for the people that something just bad that happens to them, but this is like lighting a short fuse on a firecracker. Stupid is is what stupid does. This dumb move may have saved this idiots life, if he learned his lesson with some pain. And if not it’ll weed out the weed out the gene pool

You guys are being pretty rough with this poor fella. At least he followed the number one safety rule when it comes to lasers...
he didn't look into the laser to see if it was working. He could've been blindededed!!!

Was at this guys house when he showed off his loaded Ruger pistol. I was dancing trying to get out from in front of the muzzle. He pointed it at almost everyone in the room while unloading it. He's a former LEO, mostly in corrections. Not hard to see why he only lasted a couple of years in LE. I don't think he ever killed anyone, clearly he hasn't shot himself, yet.

Probably should add emphasis on the "YET".

Flipside of that ... I was at my local indoor pistol range, and one of the local LEOs in uniform at the time was practicing qualifying drills with his service pistol in the lane next to me. He did GREAT! He was wrapping up about the same time as I was and as we walked out of the range area I commented my congratulations on his good shooting. He smiled and said something to the effect of, " What, you thought all cops can't shoot straight?" Followed by a fist bump. :D
Praise to the men and women in blue who care to better themselves.

The anticipation leading up to the trigger pull was killing me. That was hard to watch.
