One I adjusted and broke it in, it is a fun revolver. It is my first revolver since my Colt Python.

I fired mostly (two boxes of) Speer .38 Special +P Lawman 158 grain FMJ and about 2/3s of a box of Winchester White Box 357 Magnum 110 grain. Recoil was similar with both rounds. The 357 Magnum had more muzzle flash. The 357 Magnum will be my carry ammo once a new holster arrives.

I am pleased with it.

I'm pleased too. I'd be more pleased if I had one too but oh well.

Looks like it pretty much shoots for the middle too, always a good thing.

Nice pistol. That place mat on your table has some leaks in it though...

Love my Smith, too! I recently got a 1978 28-2.

When will Kahr follow Kimber, and make a revolver with that smooooooth Kahr trigger?

Got the shrouded hammer (internal hammer) wazzit... the 642 something Pro? Got it unfired, "used". No Hillary hole, .357 and small. Its still unfired. Oh well.

They're nice, nice to carry. I'd shoot .38 specials in it m'self. There's two .357 LCR's here too. They're unfired.

Not unfired, and carried last weekend (in my vest pocket) along with my trusty PM45, is the Charter Pitbull .45. What a great shooter that turned out to be, especially with lead "damn near won't cycle a bullseye gun" .45 reloads. I see another one of those, I'll get it, just to have a 2nd.

That Smith 60 looks nice!

I have a 60-7, first dash officially rated for +P, it was a marketing gimmick. the 60-9 was the first .357 model, and the new ones have no resemblance to the old ones. I wish S&W had of changed the model number for the new stuff. I really like the old model 60 and 36.

On a whim, ( I knew I could keep it if she didn't like it) I gave one to my daughter for Christmas. Her second time ever shooting any gun. Not bad at 28'.

The Pro Series is a premium gun that should have been assembled in the main plant and the final inspection and fitting in the Performance Center. That said, I bought my Mod. 60 Pro new, did some minor polishing of the rebound slide and frame, installed a Wolff 8# mainspring and 15# rebound slide spring, re-lubed, and tested with a couple hundred reloads using CCI primed handloads. The gun is totally reliable and trigger is now as smooth as the inside of a school teachers thigh.

Literally all of my recent S&W PC & Pro Series revolver purchases needed this same treatment. Call me fussy, but when moving the trigger in a $800 and up gun, I won't stand for a gritty feel or shavings under the sideplate. Nor will I dry fire it a couple of thousand times to get it reasonable close to acceptable.

I anxiously await the new Kimber K6s and hope they have their act together.

It is kind of crazy.............the amount of $$$$$$$ you pay for firearms these days, and you still have to work them. It WOULD be nice to hear that Kimber has a trigger right out of the box, only $899 retail:)

The single action trigger is good. Double action not so much. I watch my ammo choices because it only weighs 23.2 oz. Some folks have complained about the adjustable sights but I like them.

It is my first revolver since I lost a 4" Colt Python in a messy divorce a lifetime ago. The S&W Model 60 Pro is different from the Python but once I got used to it, all is good. Since it hold 5 rounds, I have Bianchi Speed Strips for spare ammo.

I do like 357 Magnums simply because they are quite versatile weapons.

How do you manage to have so many unfired guns? When I get a new one I can't wait to get to the range. You have a strong will, sir..

Which one is favorite?

That's a tough question.
For a carry revolver?
S&W 65-3 3" Heavy Barrel
It's the perfect size, weight & balance.
The spring loaded Jet Loaders make reloading reasonably fast (for me).

But my very first handgun bought was a S&W 629-2 4" 44 Mag Mountain Gun.
Glass bead blasted stainless steel, chamfered cylinder, combat hammer/trigger and round butt grips (38 oz).
It continues to be the most accurate handgun I own.
Like my kids, I can't pick a single favorite.
But those two are special

Gotta agree, the 65 is hard to beat. I missed getting one about a month ago by not jumping on it for $450, next morning went back and it was gone.

Another option for a great balanced revolver is the Mod 64. (38 sp.) My 3" is a natural pointer. I bought it a few months ago for $400. It had 6 rounds through it.
