Does anyone know where I can obtain an ejector for a 1995 K9? The have a two-pin engagement with the rear frame and look similar to many 1911 ejectors. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Oh yeah. They were the first folks I spoke with and they are seeing what they can do to help! Their CS person was very helpful.

My fingers are crossed for you. If Kahr can't find you one I don't know who can. Best of luck.

NDMarksman,
I don't have my older K9 anymore but I can't remember there being much difference from the current parts (maybe a slight change in the shape of the extractor).
I'm probably going senile, so would happen to have any photos of the parts you currently have?

Greg

I took a photo of the left inside rear portion of the frame where the ejector rides. It clearly shows the two holes where the pins on the bottom of the ejector marry up to the frame. I've only been a Kahr forum member for a short time so I'm unable to post pics yet. You could pm me and I'll forward the photo from my personal email.

How to post pictures:
On the quick reply, the third icon on the right hand side called images.
Click on that icon and it allows you to select pictures from your computer.
Once selected hit the upload button when you're done.
If you can take apart a K9 you can do this too.
You're welcome:D

My apologies, I need to join Bawanna on his trip to the optometrist as I misread your post...ejector not extractor.
I know what you are describing as we discussed this about 3 years ago: http://www.kahrtalk.com/showthread.php?18257-Is-this-normal&p=233456#post233456
If I may ask, why do you need a ejector?

Well, that answers that. I was thinking if you had a broken one that it might make fabricating a new one less a chore (if you have to go that route).
Hopefully, Kahr can help you out.:rain:

I'm really hopeful they can too but my gunsmith has already told me not to sweat it. If Kahr can't come through he will !!!:amflag:

It does not allow pics from my computer! It allows posting pics from a URL.
I've taken apart more weapons than I can count!!!!!

Well the 1995 K9 returned from Kahr today and I immediately cleaned it. I was amazed! They completely disassembled the weapon and cleaned it and they replaced the missing ejector! A range trip a few minutes ago and the old K9 went through 200 rounds flawlessly!! I have even installed 3-dot Trijicon night sights!!

Outstanding! Did they happen to replace your trigger bar with a new style one? Just curious as I've heard that there are no springs available for the old style bar.

:Amflag2: Well guys Kahr didn't charge me a dime and the trigger bar doesn't appear to have been replaced but the ejector is the new "one piece" style. It does look like she's been completely stripped / cleaned and I can't prove it but it looks like all new springs. The 95's originally had a two-piece style ejector very similar to many 1911's. BTW......boy does she shoot like a dream!!!
