new cw380 range time

well after having a cw9 for years and having zero problems I purchased a cw380. followed all tips from this site and put my first 50 rounds through the pistol. no jams no failure to feeds ,worked perfect. I like this little gun

Somethings wrong with it.... they're s'posed to be jam-a-matic, fall apart at the seams, blow up, ooze goo, shout obscenities at passers by, and be unkind to animals and babies.

I'd call Kahr first thing Monday, they're gonna want to hear about it.

I'm going to check back in after a couple more hundred rounds. but I really don't for see a problem,i quess I will find out.i read on line and on hear that these small 380s don't like fiocchi ammo. I'm going to try it seeing how I already have a box. no hollow point ammo until after break in though. oh and by the way I had a broken mag follower on my cw 9 and seen some one on here recommended getting one from lakeline, I ordered one to try . a really nice part and works great, going to order more in future

Agreed, I'm going to make it a habit to run the bore snake through my P380 after every 50-100 rounds, as my first range trip had FTRB after about 120 rounds because of build up in the chamber. 3 passes with the snake and it was good to go again.

Glad it's working out great for you! I've only been to the range once so far with about 130 rounds and I was very please with the results (CW380). Loving this little pistol.

well here is the follow up on cw 380.shot the 200 break in rounds no problems. shot the fiocchi 90 grain hollow points with out any issues.this firearm is now in my pocket and will be carried everyware. quess I got a good one,who knows. my brother also has a p380 and a 9mm, does pm9 sound right and says his also has been perfect,no problems. don't mean to diminish people that have had problems with kahr guns, I'm sure it happens. but I will buy kahr again in a heart beat

Funny you mentioned the Fiocchi. I ran the Extrema 90 grains through mine today for the first time and my CW380 loved them. Very reliable round for mine. I broke the 200 round mark today too and it was humming along great.
