So in my combat master thread i said i traded a kimber ultra raptor for a seattle combat master and a smith 31-1. Just figured i would show u the smith too.
Anyone have any insight on the 31? I literaly have no idea about this gun. Thought it was kinda cool and i collect pre lock j frames. Also surprisingly easy to find ammo for around here.

Looks to be in great shape:)
I like square butt "J" frames, so I think you have a neat little pistol there.
You'll probably want to hand load to get the most out of it. I was looking at a Hand Ejector in .32 some time back, so I had this page bookmarked:

Has it been reblued? The hammer and trigger look too dark, might just be the photo. The hammer and trigger should not be blued, usually has a heat treatment look to it.
I almost bought a 3" one a few years ago, supposed to be sweet, low recoil, low noise pistols, ballistics similar to a .380. I don't know the production history on them, but everyone I've ever seen was from the 70's. I believe they are referred to as "I" Frames.
