Sorry for the repetition but this won't be meaningful to those who don't know the history without it. Breakage list-8 mag followers, 1 mag, 2 frames, 4 trips to Kahr. Feed ramp has been ground and the last two mag followers broke since then. And some real inconsistency in replacement parts. It's had quite a few. Sent it to them a few weeks ago with a reminder of it's history. And sent them two mags, one with a broken follower, and the other missing part of its metal insert and only tripping the slide lock part time. The "Technical Service Worksheet" that came with it is ------ sorry, can't say that on the message board. So I'll just quote it. "LBD INSPECTED. REPLACED MAGAZINE. TESTED OK." Right. Well the POS tested OK when I sent it to them. No news there. Total waste of my time and their money. This is not a complicated machine. Either there is room in there for all the parts to operate or there isn't. It's pretty clear that there isn't. Admitting that means they lose a lot of money because there are a lot of PM 40's out there doing this. So, instead, they say stupid sh_t like this and wait for me to get tired of banging my head against the wall. Well, we aint there yet. I'll be at the range this week, shoot fifty or a hundred rounds, break another follower, and call them for another RMA. What's really sad about this is that I really like the gun. It's flawless when it's not broken.... If this were my XDS, I'd have no problem walking away from it. But it's as regular as a clock. And just as boring to shoot as watching one. Unfortunately, it's the one I get to carry since I can't depend on the Kahr.
I want to see pictures of the barrel in a bare frame, eccept for a magazine in the frame. I want to see the gap between the magazine follower and the end of the barrel.

Laughing. I have a picture of a gap. A gap between the end of the recoil spring and its seat under the barrel. I notice that particular spring assembly disappeared during this visit and was replaced with one that fits. There is no gap between the barrel and the mag follower. If the barrels didn't cost so much, I'd be tempted to buy a second one and grind on it every time it breaks something until it either stops hitting or stops running just to see which happens first. Anyway, I also noticed through the ejection port that there is visible wear around the perimeter of the right side of the chamber hood that wasn't there before. Perhaps they did some things they can't talk about? Regardless, my job is still the same. Go shoot it until it breaks again. Can't say it won't be fun.

In my experience gunsmiths aren't much for writing stuff down or saying everything they did to repair a gun.
Very general and vague as a rule. You can't put much credence in what they write.
That being said your absolutely right, get shooting and if it breaks, back it goes. Fingers crossed that they got it this time.
