.22 Long Rifle m be my favorite cartridge, but I do like .45 in it's many guises (especially in mainstream handgun cartridges).
How about you folks?
Hard to pick a favorite from the bunch, so....

No contest. The Remington 1911, the Stag handled Vaquero, and the 92 Winchester. That H&R is noteworthy too, kind of partial to that one too.
I like a 45 too.

It really is .22LR:)
Bawanna,
You've a good eye....while it's not a Winchester, that is a 92 clone.
It's an older Puma, half octagon barrel...good rifle. I like it so much much that I sold the Marlin 1894 Cowboy I had (didn't hurt that I got a little more out of the Marlin than I had into it).

I have the similar carbine, mine's an Uberti (I think) I know my Birdshead 45 Colt is Uberti, I actually prefer it to my Ruger. It's a bit lighter, handier and is like the Colt, leave an empty chamber and has a half cock notch. I know my Mare's Leg is Rossi.
I love the 92, great rifle and shoots well.
I wish I could be done with the tax stamp and stuff and have a 10" barrel on my Tommy. Be a whole lot handier and look more cooler too.

I want you to have one too.
They are certainly deceiving though. You see Tom Hanks packing his around like its about 2 pounds.
They weigh a ton, like 12 pounds or more, can't remember exactly. I laugh when I see him throwing it over his shoulder on the strap and stuff. I know they used all authentic guns supplied by IMA but I think he had a plastic one for many of those shots.

Man I dig that middle stag handled beauty.
I have one of those higonokami knives too. It's a super great little knife. Cheap too, less than 10 bucks.
Don't know who made that one, never seen one marked like that but there are a lot of posers.
Probably just as good. I want to get another I think while the guy is still making them. He's getting up there.

jeepster,
Nice pistolas! Thanks for sharing.
I had an "E" series 1911 and think S&W did a good job with those.
Those XS sights look right at home on your Para.
Nice snag on that LCP Barth :)
GROTMAN, Thanks!
I think I see the issue with your holster search...with your Enouy being pretty unique you'll probably need to find a custom leather worker and ya need a speed loader pouch:D

You "HAD" an E Series? You parted with the beautiful gem????? That had to be hard to handle.......
In your normal fashion you got me to surfing the internet in search of some stag grips for my Uberti. Not finding any. Lots of Ruger of course and the cost is huge, perhaps rightfully so. Tough to make stag work just right.
I guess I'll have to try to figure some out on my own.
I want another set of 1911 thin stag too. Just have to find the right piece I guess.
I think your spot on with Grotmans speedloader pouch. Sure like to play with one of those in person. I'm an addict for weird different stuff and that fits the bill perfectly.

I really like my CW45, but my favorite .45 in my collection is my S&W 1911 SC-E. I wasn't going to buy any more guns this year (I just got a new K9 Elite, so that was going to be my last gun purchase for the year), but now that S&W just came out with the Shield .45, I just know I'll end up buying one of those to be a companion to my Shield 9 Performance Center....

.45ACP has always been my favorite caliber. But I've grown to appreciate 9x19 as well as .38/.357. I wish I could carry 8+1 of .357 in something the size and weight of a Kahr CW45, but alas it is not to be.
Some of my .45s. I sold the P345 and got the P90, which I like a lot better. The 345 was great, but the P90 - oh man. And yes, that's a ProMag 10-round magazine, and yes it works just fine.

Speaking of Tommy Guns...
I've been contemplating a pistol caliber carbine, but .45s are rare. HiPoint makes one. But I didn't realize the Beretta CX4 was done in .45ACP as well as 9 & .40.
But since I have two Ruger P- series pistols in 9mm, with several 17 round mags, it would make more sense to get a Ruger PC9, but they're hard to find and cost about $750-800 when you do find them.
Then there's the HiPoint and Beretta 9mm carbines, and of course the Kel Tec Sub2000, not to pollute a .45ACP thread with 9mm talk.

JohnR, That's a nice selection of 45s!
I've been tempted by the Thunder quite a few times. How do you like yours?
IMO, it's hard not to like the P90. Like you, I prefer it over the P345. In fact it was the only SA/DA 45 I kept around for years. Several P220s came and went during that time. The SIGs were good guns, but they didn't sing to me like the P90 does. The last of the 220s was a single action version, probably should have just kept it in the safe, but I got a Stevens 200 (.223) and Buck Mark with the proceeds from it sale. Here's my very first shot from it:
http://i57.tinypic.com/20pdcat.jpg
As you know (BTW, nice shooting), the P90 is no slouch in the accuracy department (or the reliability dept.). Here's some two handed standing from 10/15 yds. right after I put night sights on mine:
http://i25.tinypic.com/28mi2u.jpg
...and that's with a top end that I picked up off an auction sight.
http://i43.tinypic.com/2djdor9.jpg
From the factory, my P90 was a manual safety model:

The Bersa .45 is one of those guns that just feels right in my hands. Really nice trigger, the slide is easy to rack. Recoil is nothing much. I curse them constantly about not producing a full size version like they do for the Thunder 9. No one listens, Kahr doesn't listen to us about a K45 either.

My local shop has a CX4 in 9mm as a rental. I've shot it some and think it's a dandy little carbine. I surly wouldn't mind having one in 45.
Hi Point 45 cal. carbines turn up in that shop time to time, but don't stay on the racks very long. A couple years back, I saw where somebody posted a photo of a cut down PC9. The work was well done and it was neat looking rifle. I've a first gen Sub2000 in 9...like it a lot as do most folks that shoot it.
